Roberta Triulzi, Sales Director:
Our father passed on to us passion, pragmatism, respect and care for the customer.
Every task deserves maximum commitment and full dedication because a satisfied customer is the best advertising possible.
After initial work experience, Cesare Triulzi had an idea and with the 500 thousand lire received from his father decided on his entrepreneurial destiny. In 1952 at Bovisio Masciago he founded Triulzi that handcrafts automatic glass washing machines. An absolute first for Italy, the glass washers and dryers quickly became popular at all the glassworks, from north to south. The workshop began to grow, thanks also in part to the first orders received from abroad.
The Cristal Mundus model was produced for mirror conveyors.
The reputation as pioneer and inventor of glass washing and drying machines spread to Europe and then worldwide. Mr. Caesar personally attended the most important international trade fairs, presenting in preview at all of these the “made in Italy” concept on the international markets. Milan, Paris, Moscow, Washington, Düsserldorf … the Triulzi machines received far reaching interest and appreciation. Requests were received from the market to expand the range of products resulting in the introduction of new automatic functions and operations.
Production was expanded and the company moved to Limbiate from where it continues to trade, enjoying larger and more functional facilities. New machines were designed and constructed that then became benchmarks such as the mirror conveyor. And, once again, a first in Italy, Triulzi now began manufacturing glass stratification machines: a concentration of technology, innovation and reliability, popular worldwide, and which contributed to the opening up of new markets.
These were years of great satisfaction for Triulzi. The company was by now structured and trading with its products worldwide; the network of agents and representatives was also now consolidated. Mr. Cesare enjoyed the rewards of his efforts and commitment over the years, receiving an award from the Chamber of Commerce of Milan: the gold medal for merits related to “made in Italy” product export worldwide. An official recognition that confirmed the creative and technological aptitude of the company.
The following models began to be produced: Toscana Mini and Jumbo.
These were years of transformation and of new entry into the company. The new Triulzi generation joined the team with enthusiasm, ideas and skills, helping to optimise the organisational structure with an increasing focus on foreign markets. Meanwhile, Mr. Cesare received two “honoris causa” certificates in the United States and France. But his did not rest on his laurels. In fact, to meet the demands of the photovoltaic industry, production began on machines for solar panels (and, subsequently, an actual dedicated division).
The model was created for the automatic process involving etched glass.
Always attentive to the evolution of markets and to customers’ problems, Triulzi created the powdering unit for the automotive industry, one of the most demanding sectors both in terms of performance and quality. But the focus also moved to other application sectors such as construction and interior design. Meanwhile attendance of international trade fairs continued, from Russia to China, from Brazil to India, areas from whic the company also gained favourable attention from the industry giants.
Thanks to the continuing pioneering spirit and inexhaustible creativity that have accompanied Triulzi since it was first set up, the company has introduced to the market innovative solutions such as the fire-resistant glass machine (that, following the prototyping phase, has already been put to work in Europe) and the ultrasonic bath that exploits the efficiency of nanotechnologies for washing perfection never achieved until now. All this confirms that the new generation heading Triulzi has inherited the best from the founder of the company more than sixty years ago.
is already today
Innovation is in our DNA. We constantly focus on the new challenges of the market. We are already working on projects that will soon become the standard worldwide. The future has just begun.
This is how we summarise our history that boasts repeated innovation and which is driven by a strong inventive spirit.
A passion passed on to us by the founder, Cesare Triulzi, and which is a value shared by everyone in the company. We have always invested resources in Research and Development and we are receptive to new technologies applied in other sectors. Many innovations stem from the collaboration with customers. In this way our know-how increases together with their business. We always seek to improve ourselves: we enjoy experimenting and identifying brilliant solutions that anticipate the future. An attitude that encourages us to collaborate with prestigious universities such as the Milan Polytechnic, hosting engineering students for lengthy work experience assignments.
Carlo Bovi, Head of Research and Development:
We strive to improve on a daily basis. Each project is an opportunity that is able to teach us something and which drives us towards new solutions.
Our machines wash and dry perfectly.
So perfectly in fact that the glass inspected with special lamps reveal no imperfection or treatment residue: an essential and necessary condition to continue further work with the certainty of maximising performance. Our internal organisation and the external chain of suppliers (selected according to strict standards of reliability) ensure complete control over quality: from the source of materials to certification of the components, from installation to final testing. Moreover, thanks to a new generation of management, our customers are able to personally check the status of production progress.
Mariella Triulzi, Marketing Director:
Customers are uncompromising on quality.
We also take this stance: indeed, we are our own first critics.
